This is Hot Mama's Espresso in Walla Walla, Washington. It's become sort of my home away from home (away from home) while I'm visiting my son for the summer. It's run by Cathy Rasley and her daughter Jenny. Jenny is a firefighter, and the cafe is full of firefighting memorabilia, photos, and the like.

Just above the counter, they've started to collect patches from different fire departments. They have three patches up there so far. They're hoping to create a huge collection from all over the US -- or even better, all over the world.
If you are a firefighter or know of one, and would like to help Hot Mama's grow their patch collection, you can send patches (or general fan mail) to:

You can also call them at 509-529-4298.
EMT?
Hey I love this site. I'm not a firefighter, but by the end of this summer I'll be an EMT! does that count? :) as a matter of fact, right now I'm writing you from the hospital's library where I'm training.
Awesome!
Thanks for your compliment and good luck with your EMT training! And yes, they'd love an EMT badge, too, I'm sure. So, if you can pick up an extra from whatever squad you're in, send it to the Hot Mamas! :)
